keeping busy

finished my 2nd frameset, in between machining projects....need to stay busy in the barn. so i built a rack, used up the absolute last lengths of rack diameter tubing. i dont have any 3/8 or 5/16 tubing longer than 6" in stock! actually, the shape and size of this rack was dictated by how much tubing i had left to work with!!

in the picture below you can see it has dual headlight mounts, and double fender mounts. the double fender mount is nice bc you can remove the L-bracket from the fender and mount it exclusively to rack, on the underside of the platform and to the hole in the fork crown strap. as an added bonus this means you can remove the rack and front fender as a single unit.
