fully operational

got all the fluids changed in the lathe, its a good thing too.
headstock oil level was low, milling head had almost no oil, feed screw gearbox oil was very dark and molasses like!

was up late last night machining in the comfort of my own barn. very nice.

even made some tools for rack building.

progress in multiple departments

currently i am trying to balance a couple things

a) job at the bike shop

b) renovating my workspace

c) getting the lathe/mill up and running

d) BUILDING RACKS!
admittedly ive been kinda slow on getting racks built lately, but now that the other items on the list are near completion (renovations and lathe setup) much more time will be devoted to racks!

more luck than i thought!!!

i couldnt believe it, but just after i hopped on the bike the rain slowed down considerably, from a serious downpour to a lighter rain!
when i get to work, i only had to change my socks, the rest of me stayed dry (enough)!!!
oh goody!

luck has run out

pouring rain. burley rain jacket and rain legs wont do the job today. they'll help, but ill still get wet! i have gotten really lucky the past year in that even on pouring rain days, ive managed to somehow only have to ride to work during breaks or light periods of rain, or have the day off on those days. today is not one of them!
