That small Bringheli setup was my inspiration for what to copy. If you have a chance could you measure the thickness and width of the channel? I couldn't find those numbers anywhere.

I ended up getting a t-slot table (from a milling machine) as the base of my setup.

a t-slot would be convenient, would make changing things around very easy. to go from frame alignment to fork alignment i have to unbolt the table from the desk it rests on, and turn it on its side to swap on the steerer block.
